For the procrastinators....

...you know it's you. And I don't have exams =) For the first time at work, in a fair while, I didn't have anything to do - came up for breath so to speak. Anyhow, got myself three jobs now.

Bulldogs...here they come. Ok, I don't want to get too excited, but they're only a point outside the eight now with star players coming back. Sure, they may lose to Manly this weekend but I think things are on the up. That Charlie Tonga prop is one fat beast, adds real punch to a front row with Shrek and Roy in it.

Cricket. Not shit, just distracted I'd say. Possibly distracted by Indian bookmakers perhaps. In saying that I've noticed the odds for Australia to win the Ashes have crepted upto $1.45 now, up from $1.30...tempting hey.

Finally, some non-sport commentary... don't you just fecking hate it when you sprint around the house, skip breakfast, sprint to the station to find the train cancelled...

Long Weekend

Right in the middle of an rather uneventful long weekend which is probably more a reflection of my "we have a long weekend???" Not surprisingly, most colleagues have dished up eventful plans taking advantage of the extra day, but to be frank I'm feeling pretty cruisey anyway. In saying that I did get 1/2 day on Tuesday in recognition for my midnight effort on Monday. Further, unlike many others, I don't have kids running riot at home.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to 2017 when Sydneysiders will get three new train lines extending to the eastern side of the CBD, north-west Sydney and south-west Sydney. Despite the fact that the SMH ran a "Sydney in crisis" segment over the course of a week, I'm totally convinced that some of my recent bloggage was the over-riding and influential factor in the Carr government's decision. Forward-looking, this brings more questions to where I would like to live in Sydney - public transport being a significant factor.

Saw "Mr and Mrs Smith" last night. Decent movie - its actually an action movie that survives on its high profile cast and jokes over-riding with sexual innuendo. It also confirmed my opinion that Angelina Jolie is good-looking, but incredibly broad shouldered, fat lipped and looks rather like a fish. Fish aren't really my type.

In sporting news oztag is going as well as last winter season which is rather unsurprising given our personnel consistency.

Bored.

Your Star Wars Pickup Line

"Hey! Did you just grab my ass from across the room with your Force Grip?"
